American Championships

The MotoAmerica AMA Road Racing Series is one of the world’s most important and competitive national motorcycle championships. It replaced the AMA Superbike Championship, which was introduced in 1976. The races of the Superbike and the Superstock classes are counted towards the Race Trophy.

The Canadian Superbike Championship also has a history of more than four decades. The first races have been held back in 1980. The BMW racers are a class of their own in the most important Canadian Superbike series: they were crowned champions on eight occasions in the past ten years.

The SuperBike Brasil is the leading motorcycle championship in Brazil. It was founded in 2010. The BMW racers claim wins and podiums on a regular basis. In 2011 and 2012 they were also crowned champion.
